The hunt is on for land and financing to build the new monorail Green Line project – 6/27/2003

Here is an article that begins to tell the story of what was happening behind the scenes as the opposition to the monorail Green Line began to implement its strategy to stop the project.

“Mayor Greg Nickels, an avid monorail supporter, recently muddied the waters by urging the SMP to consider switching the monorail to the east side of Second Avenue, because a western route would harm a planned Washington Mutual Bank tower and a Seattle Art Museum expansion.”

    Joel, if this is how you are going to tell the story it is going to take a long time. You should write it down, all of it, or make a YouTube video and post it.
