Hello everyone, we are now up to ten members of the blog. Huge growth rate. And, given the nature of all of you that have joined, I have had two requests for new categories: Humor and Poetry.
Please let me know if you would like me to add one or both of these categories.
My inclination is to add a humor category in order to keep it in one place but to allow poetry to go everywhere or anywhere someone wants to add some.
What do you think?
i agree that we should have both poetry and humor, but if poetry may be free to wander, why not humor? in fact, given the nature of this crew, i’d be highly disappointed if absolutely everything weren’t humorous, ironic, sardonic, or otherwise chuckle-able. so there. i dare you to be lame.
speaking of dares, here’s a dare i shouldn’t have thrown recently: yesterday evening, Ian declared he could throw the frisbee from the Gasworks hill all the way into Lake Union, and I declared he couldn’t. I lost resoundingly, and had to make good on my bet by diving in after it. You know my love for cold water; I was very happy to leap into the drink. But a passing police boat was not happy, and pulled up to holler so. So it turns out that my first time being pulled over by the cops has to go down as an incident of evening frisbee-swimming in Lake Union.
